For reference here’s my kid 2 weeks ago on the same slide that rocked that Boston cop. No idea how he attained warp speed. pic.twitter.com/iAz4MgY7SV

After escaping a near-fatal accident while sliding down a children's slide, a Boston Police officer went viral on social media.
The officer, who is currently the focus of a trending video, was seen sliding down the slide belly-up, feet first.
The lawman then fell towards the rough rubber flooring below the slide and yelled out "Oh, F***" as he struggled to stand up from his daze.
Since then, social media users have started making comments about the cop.
Why did he emerge from the refrigerator looking like an ice cube? a user wrote.
You must immediately leave the police station. You spend all your time online and slide down a screen like an f-king can of Diet Coke from a vending machine? How do you enter the police station? Another spoke up.
Unknown actions on the slide, which was intended for kids between the ages of 5 and 12, were being performed by the officer.
According to reports, the incident had no financial consequences for the city.
According to Sergeant Detective John Boyle, "He was hurt and used his own personal medical insurance to be treated." He returned to work right away and wasted no time.
Young Bostonians have taken a liking to the giant slide, which is a part of a recent restoration to City Hall.
The New York Post reports that the cop was not the slide's first victim; after suffering injuries while using it, another adult became popular on TikTok.
